Big Fat Loser Results

So, I still have some slackers who have not reported their weight (you know who you are!), but I decided that I should go ahead and post the weigh in results from last week. Results may be a little skewed since not everyone has been weighing in on time, but here goes.

Big Fat Loser of the week is Becca! She is down 5.8% from her last weigh in! WAY TO GO!

Other Losers this week:
  • Lou 2.7%
  • Kristin 1.7%
If YOU are also a loser, please let me know and I will add you to the list. We will weigh in again on June 26th and the last weigh in will be on July 10. Only a few weeks to go, so pull our all the stops and make a good effort. You will have an even better reward when you can fit into your swimsuit pool side at the Kruger's house!

Congratulations to everyone still hanging in there. It isn't too late to make a difference so TRY!

Of course the best news of the week is that mom and dad are home! Yeah! We missed them very much and are so proud of them for the great job that they did on their mission.

It was really nice to see everyone for a few days and hope we will have more opportunities over the summer to get together.

Now for the weigh in results:
Susannah is the biggest loser for this week at 2.3%! Way to go Sue! (I also appreciate you trying to eat "good" with me this weekend!)

Here are the over 1% Losers:
  • Susannah 2.3%

3/20 Big Fat Loser Weigh In

Here are the results of our second Big Fat Loser Weigh In. It was kind of a bad two weeks all around so everyone kick it up a notch!
  • Kristin 2.5%
  • Lalo 1.0 %
  • Teresa get's honorable mention!
My favorite treats so far are popcorn (only 1 point) and sugar free pudding (also 1 point) I also discovered smoothies I make from orange breakfast crystal light, and 1 to 1 1/2 cups of frozen fruit and water. Only 1-3 points depending how you make it. Costco also has Veggie Puffs that are 2 points for 19 that make a passable salty snack when you are in the mood. What are your favorite meals/snacks? Let's help each other out!

Next weigh in is April 3rd!

Big Fat Loser

So we are excited to get started with our Wood version of Big Fat Loser! Participating so far: Sue, Lou, Becca, Teresa, Lalo, Dan, Adrianne, Di, Rich and me! We will have our first official weigh in on Friday so be sure and send me your weights (and measurements for those of you who haven't done that yet!) I will post results on Saturday or Sunday in the form of % lost. I will post each weeks winner and everyone else who lost more than 1% of their weight in that time frame. Good luck to everyone and may the best woman (me) win!

Thanks to Adrianne for her post! We have been blogging slackers lately. Rachel looks awesome with her new braces, especially love the open mouth photo!

Kelsey, good job on your guitar! You are going to have to start giving me lessons. I have certainly not applied myself!

ONLY 4 MORE WEEKS UNTIL MOM AND DAD ARE HOME!!

Will everyone let me know what their plans are for visiting??

Love ya!

New Wood stuff.

It seems that lately Rachel has been changing alot. Mostly in looks. First her glasses and now braces. She just got them this past Wednesday and so far so good. I think she looks cute. She will love me for putting these pictures on the blog. Especially the one with her "smiling" really big.

I also thought that I would add the latest Kelsey performance. She played both her guitar and piano at the stake talent night this weekend. I thought she did great at both.

It may be cold, but we are warm in heart........

This picture proves that we were able to survive the coldest winter that Hungary has had in sixteen years. Kris managed to keep warm regarless of the temperature. The other photo proves that Dad and I are surviving here very well. We hope that the visitors at Christmas were able to see some of the hundreds 9f years of history that these countries have, nothing like the good old USA, which is a baby country.
There have not been too many posts on the blog, we need to do more. One of our missionaries just blogs her family once a week, then her daughter dresses it up for her and they have scrapbook pages right on the computer. Cool, I think
We are down to about five weeks and we are getting more and more excited to be able to come home. We love serving the Lord but we love our family soooooooo much, we can't wait to see you all.
Love, Mom and Dad, G and G

Hello from Budapest

12 January 2009
Dear Family,
We were soooooooooooooooooo excited that some of the family would take the time, MONEY and themselves to come to Budapest and visit us. We are so lucky to have such a good family. It was just seconds after they all came through the door at the airport that we felt like we had not been apart for 15 months. It was that way with all of our visitors.
Here are a couple of pictures that we took while the nine family members were here. It was the coldest winter that has been in Hungary for sixteen years. We are sorry about that but we just all bundled up and went about our way, doing what we could.
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas, we did. We are looking forward to lots of hugs and kisses and talking and stories when we get home. We only have ten weeks left.
Thanks again for ALL the work on the quiet books. We gave a few of them (Dad and I are pretty slow at putting them in folders) out on Sunday. The senior missionaries are going to give them out as we visit the different branches and wards on Sundays. We will have fifteen quiet books in all when we get them all put together. That is such a wonderful thing and we can only say thank you, thank you, thank you to all those who helped with this project.
Happy New Year to you all. We love you more than words can ever say.
B T Love,
Mom and Dad, G and G
